Air Conditioning
We offer same-day service for AC emergencies throughout our service area. In most cases, we can have a technician at your home within a few hours of your call. Remember — if we can't get there the same day, the diagnostic is free. Call us at (813) 922-2209 for emergency AC repair.
We recommend having your AC system serviced at least once a year, ideally in the spring before the hot Tampa summer begins. Regular AC maintenance helps prevent breakdowns, improves efficiency, and extends the life of your system. Our Comfort Club makes this easy with 2 included tune-ups per year.
As part of our Happy Home Promise, we always try to fix your system first. However, replacement may be the better option if your system is over 15 years old, requires frequent repairs, uses R-22 refrigerant (which is being phased out), or your energy bills are steadily increasing. We'll give you an honest recommendation and a free estimate on replacement if needed.
Common causes include low refrigerant levels, a dirty air filter, a frozen evaporator coil, a faulty compressor, or thermostat issues. Some of these are simple fixes, while others require professional diagnosis. If your AC is blowing warm air, call us for a $29 diagnostic and we'll identify the issue quickly.
A standard AC installation typically takes 4 to 8 hours, depending on the complexity of the job. If ductwork modifications are needed, it may take a bit longer. We'll provide a clear timeline before we start so you know what to expect.
Heating Services
Yes! While Tampa winters are mild compared to the north, temperatures can drop into the 30s and 40s during cold snaps. A properly functioning heating system keeps your family comfortable and protects your home from potential cold-weather damage. We service heat pumps, furnaces, and all heating systems.
A heat pump transfers heat from the outside air into your home and can also cool your home in summer — making it a two-in-one system. A furnace generates heat by burning gas or using electric resistance. In Tampa's climate, heat pumps are typically the most efficient choice since they handle both heating and cooling. We can help you decide which is right for your home.
Warning signs include unusual noises (banging, squealing, rattling), uneven heating, a sudden increase in energy bills, the system cycling on and off frequently, or strange smells when the heater runs. If you notice any of these, schedule a heating repair before the problem gets worse.
Indoor Air Quality
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association recommends air duct cleaning every 3 to 5 years. However, you may need it sooner if you have pets, allergies, recent home renovations, or notice visible dust or mold around your vents. Clean ducts improve air quality and help your HVAC system run more efficiently.
Standard 1-inch filters should be changed every 1 to 3 months. Thicker 4-inch filters can last 6 to 12 months. If you have pets, allergies, or a dusty home, change them more frequently. A dirty filter restricts airflow, makes your system work harder, and increases energy bills. We offer air filter replacement as part of our tune-up services.
Several options can dramatically improve your indoor air: air purifier installation, UV light systems that kill bacteria and mold, HEPA filter upgrades, whole-home dehumidifiers (especially important in Tampa's humidity), and regular duct sealing to prevent contaminants from entering your system.
